One Battle After Another


 One Battle After Another is that rare gift of a film. A studio film with an epic budget that takes risks and is hard to categorize. As a thriller and a comedy it works while also remaining relevant and trenchant in its themes of freedom, racism, justice and how little things have progressed in this country. Paul Thomas Anderson’s latest follows a former vigilante revolutionary who 16 years later is trying to live a normal life with his teenage daughter only for the past to come back to haunt him and also he’s high as a kite. Anderson has always been a filmmaker that can basically make films about everything genre be damned and pull it off with this film he has delivered one of his best yet and one of the best films so far this decade. Run don’t walk to this one. 

I Give It 5 Stars!!!
