Satisfied


 Satisfied is proof positive that a compelling subject can elevate a documentary over pedestrian filmmaking. This film on the actress Renee Elise Goldsberry (best known for her role as Angelica in Hamilton) and her struggles with overnight success and making time for her family does an excellent job of showing Goldsberry’s talent and charisma and the likability of her family as well which makes it easy to be invested in her journey (plus the behind the scenes footage of Hamilton is also a nice cherry on the sundae) and yet i wish the film was a bit longer and a bit more polished and had a bit more insights from other subjects surrounding Goldsberry but overall if you are a fan of either Goldsberry or her most well known role, this is a must watch.

 I Give It 4 1/2 Stars!!!
