Soul On Fire


 Soul On Fire is easily the best Sean McNamara film in that it’s merely harmless and mediocre and not soul suckingly awful. The film follows the true story of John O’Leary a motivational speaker who as a child miraculously survived burns over nearly one hundred percent of his body. This faith based film has its heart in the right place and as a St. Louis native it’s hard not to be proud of my town getting such a loving tribute, but McNamara has never seemed to understand what flies in a cheap TV movie doesn’t hold up well on the big screen. Still this could have been worse. It’s not Reagan.

 I Give It 2 1/2 Stars!!!
