Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere
Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere is not a music biopic, go in with that mentality and you won’t be on board. This film centers on Bruce Springsteen during the period working on his album Nebraska as he deals with a deep depression. This is a film that fully understands great art can only come from deep pain and director Scott Cooper explores this with raw, methodical precision. This is a very downbeat film but it earns it by the virtue of exploring Springsteen’s pain and on that basis this is one of the finest films exploring the psychology of an artist in crisis i have seen. The whole cast delivers awards caliber work. This film will not be for everyone but i absolutely loved it.
I Give It 5 Stars!!!
